OUR STORY
Nifikie was born out of a vision to change lives in one of Nairobi’s most challenging environments, the Mukuru kwa Njenga slum. Our journey began with a group of passionate individuals who came together with the shared goal of making a difference. We started with a few children, a handful of volunteers, and a lot of determination.
Over the years, we’ve grown and evolved. We’ve seen young minds blossom through education, nourished children’s bodies and dreams with nutritious meals, and provided a place for inspiration and faith through the Saturday Children’s Church. Our commitment to mental health awareness has brought hope and support to countless families.
Our story is one of resilience, compassion, and unwavering dedication. We are driven by the belief that every life has the potential for greatness, and it is our privilege to help individuals in Mukuru kwa Njenga realize that potential.
